After I watched this video, I felt marvelous. How could they do that in their brains? They have special brains. The black man could remember the day of weak and the day of weather. Another man, Kim can remember 90 percent of books what he read. In addition, the main character, Daniel has three mysterious abilities: mathematics problem, sequence memory and language learning. In Tokyo, the children learn to use calculation with an abacus. I had studied for 3 years, but they worked more hard than I did. In addition, Daniel said learning a new language. You should try to speak it and understand it. I have learned English since I was 12, but I didn’t have many opportunities to speak, just I worked on papers. Now I’m the dumbest student in classes. I think I have to change my behavior.

Juvenile Crime

According to the video, it is talking about juvenile crime has increase. America government doesn’t give they any hopes. From 1992 to 2007, the prison has big increase from 400 prisons to more than 2000. The juvenile tried to appeal, but they are refused. Many people believe that it’s impossible to gat the parole. The criminals would stay in jail unit they died. Some of they said they don’t have any reason to live. In addition, some of they have exhausted all the appeals.

I think the government is right about there are no parole to leave the prison for juvenile. They probably know after they commited, and they woudl go to jail. There should no reason for crimes. I know that is cruel, but it’s safe for society. In Taiwan, the government paroled the about 10.000 drug addicts two months ago, because the prisons are crowded. Most of they got new lives, yet some of they take drugs again. Then some people wander their safety. I’m worried my family and friends in Taiwan, too. Criminals are very good example for us. They should be responsible for crimes. Do NOT commit. In addition, the parents don’t alienate and pay attention to your children. Let’s decrease the crimes.

NOVA : ASTERROID

The video is talking about a doomsday rock size of the Rose Bowl hit Earth in 2036.Recently scientists have observed that a rock will hit earth in the future, or miss. It's very serious problem ,if it's true. We should think about how solve or prevent this perdition.
I'm thrilled by viedo in a moment. Even though we know it's not easy, scientists will solve this problem. Now we just have two ways to prevent. One is slow down the astriod's speed. Another is destroy it. Actually,both are difficult...,but I believe that this problem will be solved.SO... don't worry, be happy. ^^"

Language Use and English-Speaking AbilityL:2000

According to Language Use and English-Speaking AbilityL:2000. Frist,talking about "people speak a language other than English". The result is 18 pescent people spoke a language other than English at home. Most people spoke English at home. Second,"how well does this person speak English". The answer is most people thought they spoke very well in many races. I think if you don't speak English at home, you lose an opportunity to improve your speak. Don't waste your opportunity if you could. Third, ten languages most frequently spoken at home other than English and Spanish: 2000. The outcome is 1.Chinese 2.French 3.German. Fourth, Non-English language spoken at home by region: 2000. The conclusion is most Spanish spoken at home in any region,especially,the region in South and West. I think Spanlish is second language in the USA. Most Americans could speak both. FIinally,English is useful because it is spoken in many countries. I think everyone knows it is global language now in many ways.

Introduction

Hello,everyone. My name is Chia-Feng,Chang.I'm from Taiwan.I have been here for 10 months.I have studied ESL two quarters in University of Washington before I came here.By the way,UW's compus is beautiful and large.I hope you would walk around one day.This is my second quarter in SCCC.I changed school because I want to take the regular classes.Now I'm taking Psychology.In the future,I think I will take Business or Japanese probably.I'm not sure yet.(Always change)
This is my first going aborad.I have gone to other cities or countries in break.In Fall break,I want to California to visit my classmate in my high school for few days.In Spring break,I want to Mt. Rainier and Vancouver with my friend who met in UW. In few days,I want to Vancouver on July 1st again.It's a Holiday in Canada.Unfortunately, we didn't see the fireworks,but it's ok.On July 4th,we saw a lot of fireworks in Gas Park.We came to Gas Park at 5 o'clock.We waited for a long time.By the way, the fireworks were more wonderful than I have seen.The Gas Park was many poeple who came. Now I should study hard this time.
In my family,we have 5 people,father,mother and two sisters.They are in Taiwan now.I miss my family and my best friends so much...so much.
